The company was founded initially in 1983 by Peter, under the name of Peter Dean Gardens By Design and recently changed its name to "Gardens by Design"

The company's success to-date is based on its strong commitment to responding to clients needs by developing plans that are not only practical but also original and imaginative. Our style and expertise has been recognised in the industry by the winning of various design awards.

PETER J. DEAN, Principal, MAIH

Peter brings over 40 years of professional experience to the business as a qualified horticulturist, an eduacator of horticulture and landscape subjects and a talented garden designer. Since arriving in Perth in 1980 Peter has been responsible for the design of a large number of residential and commercial projects and is the pround recipient of the following awards for his garden designs.

E. ANNE COFFIN, Draftperson

Anne brings over 30 years of professional experience to Gardens by Design as a qualified Draftsperson and office manager, with her manual and computer drafting skills, she works closely with Peter to produce clear and precise landscaping drawings.
